Here’s to Bo! ✨🛸
At every stop on this journey, I’ve been met with incredible signs—moments of synchronicity, alignment, and clear messages that I am exactly where I’m meant to be. Each place has offered its own kind of magic: lessons, connections, and confirmations that can’t be explained away. (More on that later…)
But today, I want to honor one of those moments—and one of those souls.
The first person I met when we pulled into our new spot in Orlando was Bo—a lovely man in his mid-70s, standing outside, staring up at the sky.
He looked over at me and said, “Do you see the sky? It’s perfect for seeing UFOs.”
I’ll admit, I braced myself—wondering if he was pulling my leg. But Bo didn’t skip a beat.
“I saw one of those tic-tac UFOs standing right here on a day just like today. You watch that sky. I’m not kidding. You might think I’m crazy, but it’s true. And that’s all I know.”
My whole heart smiled. I told him I believed him. That I’m a medium, and I’ve been visited by several different kinds of extraterrestrial beings. And just like that—we were there. No masks. No judgment. No small talk. Just truth.
It was a beautiful reminder:
✨ Be unfiltered.
✨ Be open.
✨ You never know who will meet you there.
Thank you, Bo, for being exactly who you are.
For looking up.
For speaking your truth.
And for reminding me not to hide mine.
The Beauty of the Manatee 💙🐋
Before we entered the water, we went through a class on manatee etiquette—learning the laws, the do’s and don’ts, and just how sensitive these incredible beings are. We were told they can feel even the slightest stimuli from feet away. I connected with that instantly—as someone deeply attuned to energy, I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by the invisible.
As we slipped into the frigid waters of Crystal River, I watched as other tour groups eagerly snorkeled around in search of that coveted manatee encounter. And while part of me was excited—especially for my daughter to witness such a rare experience—my heart sank. I could feel how overstimulating and invasive it must be for them.
It reminded me of how I feel in a crowded Costco—drained, surrounded, nowhere to breathe.
While others grouped into semi-circles around the manatees, following them closely, I just… couldn’t. I couldn’t join the crowd. I couldn’t add to that energy.
So I held back.
I sent them love.
I thanked them.
I apologized for our human desperation and curiosity.
I honored them from a distance.
In my quiet, meditative state, something incredible happened—one swam directly to me.
She glided right up and took a breath in front of my face. I froze—not wanting to startle her. Just witnessing. Just being with her. I whispered my gratitude. I was honored.
It was one of the most sacred, soul-affirming moments I’ve experienced.
I do wish we had better ways of interacting with nature—ways that don't feel so much like watching monkeys in a cage or invading someone’s space. We don’t (typically) go around randomly touching strangers, following them, or trying to get their attention. Well… unless it’s a pregnant belly or a child with long, beautiful hair like my daughter’s.
We are interesting creatures, aren’t we?
May we remember that reverence belongs in every encounter—with each other, with animals, with the Earth. 🌍💫
