Growing a baby is hard work 💁‍♀️
Doing it during the heat of summer can add a few extra challenges like swelling, fatigue, dehydration, and increased pelvic pressure. A few simple strategies can go a long way:

💧Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink. Sipping fluids throughout the day can help support energy levels and keep you feeling your best.
Bonus: Popsicles, smoothies, and water-rich fruits can be a refreshing way to boost hydration.

🚶‍♀️Instead of standing for long periods, take gentle movement breaks. A short walk can help improve circulation and may reduce feelings of heaviness, swelling, and discomfort.

😌Build in short rest breaks throughout the day. Even 10 minutes of side-lying rest can help ease swelling, reduce pelvic pressure, and give your body a chance to recharge.

Remember, your body is already working overtime. Rest when you need to, listen to your body's cues, and give yourself plenty of grace this summer ❤️

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) affects many women, yet it's often something people don't hear about until they're experiencing symptoms themselves.

You may have heard terms like:
✨ pelvic heaviness
✨ pelvic pressure
✨ a bulging sensation

Throughout June, we'll be sharing information about prolapse, common misconceptions, treatment options, and ways pelvic health therapy can help support function and quality of life.

If this is your first time hearing about prolapse, you're exactly why we're having this conversation🌿

May came and went in a hurry.

I had every intention of showing up more on social media this month... and then life happened 😊 And if I'm being realistic, summer will probably look similar 🫠

In the meantime, I hope each of you soak up some sunshine, feel the grass between your toes, and find ways to move your body that feel good.

Happy June 🌿

✨ Myth Busting Monday ✨

TRUTH: What we’ve traditionally called PCOS may affect far more than the ovaries alone. You may have heard the term PMOS being discussed recently.

PMOS (PolyMetabolic Ovarian Syndrome) is being explored as a more accurate name because this condition can impact:
✨ pelvic health
✨ pain patterns
✨ bladder/bowel function
✨ inflammation
✨ nervous system regulation
✨ metabolism
✨ fatigue

Pain with periods, pelvic heaviness, abdominal tension, low back discomfort, painful intimacy, or persistent core pressure should not simply be brushed aside as “normal.”

If pelvic pain or related symptoms have been affecting your daily life, know that support is available 🌿

We hope you’re enjoying the unofficial kickoff to summer — especially with the sunshine finally starting to peek through after all the much-needed rain ☀️

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we also pause to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for those who protect and serve our communities every day.
THANK YOU ❤️🤍💙
