JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data Entry /Lab Technician has administrative and laboratory responsibilities. The tech is responsible for accurately entering information and data into our laboratory information management system (LIMS) throughout the oil analysis process. The tech is also responsible for efficiently and carefully handling fluid samples and performing tests that provide accurate and reliable results. While the tech is responsible for processing oil samples from receptions to test completion, the tech is NOT analyzing test data or writing a diagnosis. This is a production based entry level position.

NOTE: We are seeking applicants for a long term commitment. We are an OIL ANALYSIS LAB. We are NOT seeking applicants seeking to further a medical or health related career.

The Lab Technician will operate laboratory equipment to test industrial and vehicle lubricating fluid samples. This position requires the understanding and application of detailed work instructions on numerous processes used in the facility. Laboratory Technicians observe and read instrumentation to determine operating conditions during testing. Testing involves precise measurements of fluid samples, so attention to detail and cleanliness are critical to prevent contamination and flawed results. Individuals must enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment where meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest standard of quality are essential. Immediate Opening: Laboratory Technician P/T. The Lab Technician is responsible for efficiently and carefully handling fluid samples and performing tests that provide accurate and reliable results. The Lab Technician performs daily routine lab analyses, which include running laboratory equipment such as spectrometer, viscometer, fluid scanner and more to test industrial and vehicle lubricating fluid samples. This position requires the understanding and application of detailed work instructions on numerous processes used in the facility. Laboratory Technicians observe and read instrumentation to determine operating conditions during testing. Testing involves precise measurements of fluid samples, so attention to detail and cleanliness are critical to prevent contamination and flawed results. Individuals must enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment where meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest standard of quality are essential.
