A recent study by researchers at the University of Alberta found that young adults who regularly used e-cigarettes showed reduced exercise tolerance, increased breathlessness, and early changes in lung and cardiovascular function, despite otherwise normal clinical lung test results.
Researchers noted that some of these effects appeared earlier than would typically be expected with traditional cigarette smoking, highlighting the need for continued study into the long-term respiratory impacts of va**ng.
As va**ng use continues to grow, particularly among younger populations, ongoing research remains important to better understand its effects on lung health and future disease risk.
