Spin Pole with Shillo Amari

Let’s lift ourselves into the air. This workshop is for those who love to puff their chest, trust their wings, and glide through the air with ease. If you’re a spin pole lover, you’ll feel right at home here.
We’ll warm the body, preparing you to weave yourself effortlessly through space. Harnessing breath-work and body contact within your transitions. Beyond the beautiful spin passes and transitions we’ll explore, we’ll refine your lines, hand and finger articulation, facial expression, and overall presence. Supporting you in moving through the air with intention.
Requirements: Strong climb, upright pole sit and solid invert, descents from jasmine or other modifications included.

Shillo Amari is a dynamic performer based in Chicago, IL, originally from Detroit, making waves coast to coast and internationally! With 11+ years of pole dance experience, she is not only a dancer but also a performing artist, coach, judge, producer and medaled competitor. Known for her captivating stage presence, flowing sensual movement, and unwavering advocacy for mid-size, fat and curvy bodies, Shillo continues to inspire and empower audiences and students alike.
