I don’t know how it happened… but somehow, here we are.
My baby girl—the one who made me a momma—is graduating high school this year.
It feels like just yesterday I was holding her tiny hand, walking her into her first day of school, wiping away her tears… and now I’m holding back my own.
She’s grown into someone so strong, so kind, so full of heart—and I couldn’t be more proud.
I can’t help but think about the ones who aren’t here to see this moment—my daddy, my uncle, her great grandparents. Not many kids get to spend time or be around their “great “ side of the family but my babies got so much time to become closer then ever to them!
They would have been beaming with pride, cheering her on the loudest, probably crying right beside me.
I feel them with us, though. I see them in her smile, hear them in her laugh, and I know they’re watching from above with so much love.
This milestone is big. It’s emotional. And it’s beautiful.
To my girl—thank you for making me a momma, and thank you for becoming exactly who you were meant to be.
Class of 2025, we’re not ready… but we’re so proud.
