Kyleigh Adams

Hey guys! My name is Kyleigh Adams, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of serving as your 2025-2026 Varsity Thespian President while also experiencing varsity theatre for all 4 years of high school. Theatre has completely changed my perspective on the world and on myself, and this team became so much more than a team to me, it became my family. Over these past 4 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of all 16 productions, competing in extemporaneous speaking and prose and poetry, and growing in ways I never expected. Every single show was different, but one thing never changed was the incredible talent and love within this program. I also want to thank our directors, Denbow, Steiner, Thomas, and Williams for believing in me, supporting me, and reminding me I was loved. Y’all have impacted my life more than you know. To my underclassmen and incoming freshmen, I know next year will look different, but I also know you guys are going to thrive. You all are far too talented not to. I’m beyond thankful for this chapter, even though saying goodbye is hard. Like Winnie the Pooh said, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” I love each and every one of y’all forever. Your 2025-2026 Varsity Thespian President, signing off.💗

To our seniors,
thank you for all the memories, laughs, advice, and moments that made theater special. Y’all have had such a big impact on us, and it’s hard imagining theater without y’all here. No matter where life takes y’all next, we know y’all are going to accomplish incredible things and make or department so proud. We’ll always be cheering y’all on and rooting for yall on and off stage.We are so proud of y’all. We know y’all are gonna go off and do amazing things. Y’all will forever be apart of Troupe 1653.

Madisen Cruz

Hi guys I’m Madisen! I have fortunately been given the opportunity to be a part of varsity since my freshman year. Theater has shaped me in so many ways, not just as a person, but also by bringing some of the most amazing people into my life. I’Il never forget as a freshman when the seniors would talk about how quickly time passes, and I never really understood it until now. As I’m writing this, I realize I only have five weeks left of my high school career. Time has truly flown, and I don’t know what l’ll do knowing that in just a few weeks, it will be my last time ever performing on a stage.
Enjoy it while it lasts, it feels like just yesterday my friend pushed me into auditioning for varsity, and now I get to not only share that experience with her, but also carry all the new friendships and connections I’ve made across the stage with
