Today marked a special milestone as we hosted our very first Inter Soccer Academy Tournament, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible turnout and support from our community.

UNITED WE CELEBRATE: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

The countdown is on! Before you join us for the United We Celebrate Festival on July 4, here are a few things to know before you go.

🗽Festival activities begin at 2:00 pm and continue through 8:00 pm. Stuhr Museum will open at 9:00 am if you want to come early before the festival begins!

🎟️Festival admission is just $2.50 in honor of America's 250th birthday from 9 am - 8 pm (free admission for fireworks starts at 8 pm)

🎟 FREE admission is available all day for:
• Stuhr Museum Members
• Hastings Museum Members
• Active-duty military personnel and their immediate family through the Blue Star Museums program

🎆The community fireworks show will be at 10:00 pm, presented by the Grand Island Fireworks Celebration. Free entry for the fireworks starts at 8:00 pm.

🚗 Parking is available around the museum circle and in our large festival parking lot, which can accommodate several hundred vehicles. (Fun fact: this is the same lot that successfully served thousands of visitors during Grand Island's 2017 Total Solar Eclipse celebration! ☀️)

🚌 Because festival activities will be spread throughout the museum grounds, complimentary shuttles will run throughout the day with convenient stops located around the festival.

🎵 The fun doesn't stop at 8:00! Live music will continue through the evening with Killer Tofu - 90's Hits, leading up to the fireworks and continuing afterward as visitors enjoy the celebration.

🌭 Food trucks and concessions will be available throughout the festival, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the evening festivities.

🚦After the fireworks, a special traffic plan will be in place to help everyone leave safely and efficiently. Vehicles turning right out of the museum will exit as normal. Vehicles turning left will be directed through the museum's entrance lane, which will temporarily serve as an exit route. No incoming traffic will be permitted during this time.

⚽ Looking for something to do earlier in the day? Inter Soccer Academy's 250th Celebration Soccer Tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. with games running throughout the day. At 1:00 p.m., the Hall County Historical Society will host its traditional German Language Church Service in the Historic Church. Seating is limited for this special annual service.
