Masonic Banquet and Event Center Rentals

The Masons have enjoyed a very long history in Grand Forks being one of the first social groups to be established in the City. Their first location was in the (now destroyed) Syndicate Block on 3rd Street before they relocated to the what is now the Stratford Building on DeMers Avenue. Eventually, they built the Masonic Center which still stands proudly on Bruce Avenue.

The building was designed in the Beaux Arts/Neoclassical style by Joseph Bell DeRemer which compliments the Grand Forks County Courthouse across the street built in the same year. It includes several decorative details such as the limestone garlands and the double-headed eagle over the entrance.
