UND Music and UND Aerospace have joined forces for ✨ Cᴏɴsᴛᴇʟʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴs: A Cᴏʟʟᴀʙᴏʀᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ Cᴏɴᴄᴇʀᴛ ✨. This interdisciplinary project brings together faculty and students from UND Music’s Voice program and UND Aerospace’s Aviation and Space Studies programs. The result is a unique concert experience that explores the shared aspirations of music and flight, blending technical innovation with artistic expression.

UND Music presents a senior recital featuring music education major Kétina François, voice, with Kaden Dowling, piano, featuring Nanqing Xia, cello, Melissa Trott, piano, Carolyn Tunseth, piano, and Sur Kerr, organ. The program includes works in English, German, Spanish, Italian, and Haitian Creole spanning the romantic and contemporary periods.

"I am super excited to share this program because it really showcases my growth over the years, both as a singer and as a musician. I’m especially excited to include a couple of Haitian pieces as an homage to my heritage, which makes this recital feel very personal and meaningful to me. I’m also grateful for the opportunity to perform alongside so many wonderful musicians.

This program has definitely challenged me in new ways, but those challenges have pushed me to grow into the musician I am today. A huge thank you to Dr. Anne Christopherson, Dr. Justin Montigne, Mrs. Melanie Popejoy, and Kaden Dowling for being such important and supportive figures in my journey and growth as a musician."
