Miss Crookston Pageant

From our Miss Crookston, Hayley Leckie:

Over the past week, I had the honor of performing in the ReliaQuest Bowl alongside more than 400 dancers, fulfilling a long-held personal goal. The experience required dedication and resilience, as each day began with early morning practices on a football field under challenging weather conditions. Despite these obstacles, the performers remained committed and supportive of one another.
In addition to rehearsals, the week included several memorable experiences such as visiting Clearwater Beach, Busch Gardens, and participating in a dinner cruise that allowed me to connect with performers from across the country. Game day was the highlight of the week, as it marked my first time performing in an NFL stadium. Sharing the field during the national anthem, performed by the Broadway cast of The Outsiders, made the moment especially meaningful and memorable.
The week concluded with a reflective and emotional gathering that emphasized gratitude, growth, and appreciation for the leadership and support of Cindy Clough and the Just For Kicks organization. This experience encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone and reinforced the importance of being present and valuing each opportunity. As I enter my senior year, I am grateful for this experience and the lasting lessons it provided!

Hayley Leckie, the daughter of Erika and Scott Leckie , was crowned Miss Crookston 2025.
Hayley won the talent, evening gown, On-Stage Presence, and Freedom Award.

The first runner-up was Halle Nicholas, daughter of Jamie and Travis Nicholas. Halle also won the Personal Interview.

Neshelle Tellez Vasquez, daughter of Awilda Tellez Vasquez and Bonifacio Tellez won the Miss Congeniality.
Also competing was Taylor Wieland, daughter of Josh and Sarah Wieland.
