Brazil-based Petrobras on June 17 announced is has completed the production and sale of its first batch of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) made from CORSIA-certified soybean oil. The soybean oil was sourced from Bunge.

NYK has commenced a one-year long-term trial involving the continuous use of 100% biofuel (B100) on an NYK-operated car carrier. The initiative is designed to evaluate the fuel’s effects on the vessel’s equipment and verify operational safety.

EcoCeres announced the extension of its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply agreement with British Airways until the end of 2030. The SAF is produced from 100% waste-based feedstocks, such as used cooking oil (UCO).
