This is not what a structural I-Beam should look like. We found this corroded and compromised steel I-beam shortly after the "structural engineer" signed off on the home being all good. Turns out he didn't even access the crawl space, and was only at the dwelling for about 15 minutes. Moral of the story- be careful who you trust!

This isn't exactly what we'd call a proper floor support jack post. Found over a dozen of these "supports" in this home's crawl space- No footings necessary 😂
Glad we caught this one, wonder how long it's been leaking!?
