Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures who help shape our community.
Father's Day is an opportunity to recognize the dads, stepfathers, grandfathers, guardians, mentors, and role models who support, guide, and inspire others through their actions and example.
Whether at home, at work, or in the community, fathers and father figures play an important role in teaching values, building strong families, and helping future generations succeed. Their influence often extends far beyond a single day and can leave a lasting impact for years to come.
We also recognize the many fathers within our department who balance serving the community while being present for their families whenever they can.
From all of us at Goodyear Fire, thank you to the fathers and father figures who lead with kindness, strength, and dedication. We wish you a safe and happy Father's Day.

Whether the day is busy or quiet, our crews remain ready to respond when the community needs us. While emergency calls are a significant part of what we do, readiness is built long before the tones go off.
Between calls, firefighters spend time training, checking equipment, participating in public education programs, and connecting with the community. These daily efforts help ensure we're prepared to respond safely and effectively when emergencies occur.
Serving the City of Goodyear is something we take great pride in. No matter the assignment, our commitment remains the same: being ready to answer the call and protect the community we serve.
