Ignite Yoga

Jeannette cannot wait to provide her wellness knowledge to National Association of Hispanic Nurses-Phoenix Chapter and all the wonderful nurses who work tirelessly to support all of us! This association has been near and dear to us at Ignite for years!

She is excited to kick off the event as the first presenter 🫶

Jeannette Guerra Baxter moved from California to Arizona in 2015 and found Ignite Yoga Studios the summer of 2017. The variety of classes, warmth and friendship of the instructors and students inspired her to enroll in Ignite’s 200 hr. certification program in 2019. After teaching, for a year, she knew she had to know more to enhance her craft; Ignite’s 300 hr. certification training answered this calling. She completed their 300 hour program and was honored to mentor under Donna Schnoor, an advanced instructor/trainer.

Her wellness journey was always health conscious and in tune with nature. Yoga was the natural next step in finding her connection to the universe and self-realization. Her journey began with the use of DVDs from various yoga instructors. From there she migrated to classes offered by the local gyms, then yoga studios.

She continues her education via workshops and additional training modules, earning certifications in Adjustments, Yoga for Osteoporosis, Chair, Restorative and Chakra healing among others, in order to bring more therapeutic class offerings to her students. Yoga as therapy is a driving force in her journey toward knowledge.

Jeannette knows that Yoga is the answer to maintaining health and mobility as we age and has focused additional training hours on therapies and modalities that may enable individuals of any age to live their best life.

She uses her expertise throughout the west valley to make yoga accessible to all. Greet life with a smile and the universe will smile back.

“I want to make yoga accessible to individuals of all ages and strive to include modifications and gentle guidance to those that think ‘I can’t do yoga.’”
