To our valued GOCO customers, we recently experienced an outage due to high winds causing our tower to collapse in the Schroeder area. Service was down for less than a week even with the extensive damage incurred. Some have asked if there would be a credit for the lapse in service and were told that we would not be issuing credit.
We understand some customers have been unsettled about this matter and we will gladly speak to you personally about it, however, the outage was unpredictable, no fault of our own, and handled swiftly. We believe this refund request would be answered in the same manner with our competitors.
We do not lock you into a contract and if your unsettlement leads you in another direction there will be no penalty or fee for termination of service.
This is in no way a reflection of how we value and appreciate our customers. You are our priority which is why we responded non stop and with everything we had to get a new tower put back up.
Some of you have had continued lapse in service since repairs. If this is you please call our office and speak to us. We are scheduling now to get those radios back up. 361-645-3799

Well, that’s a wrap. Almost, anyway. Most of you are back in business. There will be a handful in and out and a few who have yet to reconnect until later tonight when we finish tweaking things remotely. Again, thank you for your patience and for all the help!
