Had such a beautiful time attending and presenting at the AASECT conference!!!! Sharing a pleasure embodiment and pleasure activism-based trauma healing model with providers, therapists, and educators was such an honor. The culmination of my work in pleasure activism, pleasure-based healing, somatics, s*x therapy, and expanded healing states. Yum, just yum.

I got to be with incredible colleagues like Brian Gibney (also presented!) and fellow SEP Cassandra Rustvold (also presented this year!), and one of my beloved mentors, Tina Schermer-Sellers! And met sooo many amazing advocates for justice, power, and clarity in the field of s*xology. The presentations ranged from ADHD/Neurodiversity, Aging, Endometriosis, Pelvic pain, OCSB, gender politics, research rebellion,...wow.

Thank you AASECT Board also for awarding me the Schiller Prize for my abstract and presentation. And for everyone who came to the 3-hour intensive, YOU ROCK, thanks for receiving me.

Loved soaking up all the knowledge and good energy over the weekend. Cheers, AASECT family! 🥂

I'm so happy to be in Puerto Rico during Pride Week! What a beautiful time to be in such a beautiful place. The struggles of the LGBTQ people of peurto rico have been vast, and I am honored to be celebrating the strive for equality and q***r joy with you 🏳️‍🌈

In 1973, the Comunidad de Orgullo Gay was established as the first gay rights organization in Puerto Rico. In 1991, the Coalición Puertorriqueña de Lesbianas y Homos*xuales was formed. That same year, one of the island's first LGBT Pride parades was organized. Since then, Pride has been held every year in San Juan and Cabo Rojo!
