Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.
More than a day off work.
More than BBQs, gatherings, and the beginning of summer.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom.

Jesus said in John 15:13 (NKJV),
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

Across generations, brave sons and daughters answered a call greater than themselves. Many never came home. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms that are too often taken for granted.

As believers, we recognize that sacrifice is sacred. Freedom is costly. Honor matters.

Today, Gateway Ministries remembers the fallen with gratitude, humility, and prayer.

We pray for the families who still carry loss.
We pray for veterans who carry visible and invisible wounds.
We pray that America would never lose sight of the price that was paid for liberty.

May we live worthy of such sacrifice.
May we be a people marked by gratitude, courage, faith, and honor.
