Season Kickoff Meeting - March 19th

Mark your calendars! Our 2026 🥎 season kickoff meeting will be held in the Golden High School cafeteria on Thursday, March 19th from 6:00-7:30pm. Parents and players should plan to attend for an opportunity to meet teammates and coaches, hear more about practice dates/times, try on jerseys for sizing, and browse the gear swap!

Our 2026 Spring/Summer season registration is live!

Important Reminders:

🥎Priority will be given to returning players who register by February 15th. Priority means placement on a Golden team, but it’s not necessarily full commitment to the same team as previous seasons, etc. After February 15th, placement will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register as soon as possible.

🥎We anticipate having teams rostered by early March. As always, rosters may remain somewhat fluid until registration officially closes.

🥎Our kickoff meeting will likely take place during the week of March 16. We recognize this is early and ahead of spring break and will plan accordingly.

🥎Practices are expected to begin March 30, with games likely starting the first week of May.

Who’s ready to walk in a parade with Santa?! The Olde Golden Holiday Parade is THIS UPCOMING Saturday 12/13/25 at 10:30am.

NEW THIS YEAR – Each parade entry has a movie theme associated with it. Golden Softball’s theme is THE GRINCH. Dress like any character from the Grinch movie (think Cindy Lou Who, Max the dog, any Who from Whoville or even the Grinch himself). We would love for you to participate in the theme but if that’s not your thing then showing up in Golden softball attire is perfectly acceptable, too. 😊

We will meet around 9:40am - 10:00am to line up. We are entry #4 so will be on 10th street somewhere between Washington & Arapahoe on Saturday morning (12/13).

Just a reminder to:

❄️Wear Grinch themed items or Golden Girls/Demons apparel but also dress for the weather (think layers) - bring cocoa, gloves and hats!!
❄️Parking on the side streets North of 10th street is recommended (Elm, Maple, 9th, etc.) - carpooling is recommended!
❄️Be lined up by 10am
❄️Public bathrooms will be closed - plan to go before heading down
❄️We can hand out items but cannot throw them into the crowd (they will actually need to be placed in the attendee's hands)

Bring your best cheering voices!!!! There will be candy, flyers and stickers to hand out to the crowd (if you have leftover Halloween candy to get rid of, you are welcome to bring it).
