To Phyllis, woman behind it all —happy mother’s day 💖

There is no one in this world I’d rather have on my side, day in and day out, working non-stop with to make the most spectacular events happen, than Phyllis! (Who—if you couldn’t tell from these pics is my amazing mother 🥰)

She is the true embodiment of small and mighty, having started her own company some 30 years ago and never looked back (...while raising 3 kids, I might add). From a small flower shop she used to run out of our house when I was a kid, to the full event planning, design, and floral arts company Eventricity is know for now — she has proved to the world that with drive, dedication, and passion for what you do— you can make the most amazing things happen!

She has taught me everything I know, and is the most amazing role model a daughter could ever ask for. She is the strongest, kindest, silliest, sassyist, most genuine, caring, creative, and hardworking woman that I have ever met. But above all, she is the person I am truly thankful and proud to call my mom🥰💞

There’s nothing we love more than seeing photos of our couples on their wedding day. As the florist, we get to see the bridal party early in the day, when we drop off their personal flowers while they are getting glammed up in hair + make up💅🏻✨Seeing their faces light up when we show them their bouquets and boutonnières for the first time is something that we will never get tired of 🥰

After that, we head off to set up the ceremony and reception, so we don’t have the chance to see all of the precious moments...like these here... that are full of pure love, happiness, and excitement as they embark on this first day of the rest of their lives together.

Do we happy cry at every photo album? (Definitely) But when you see love like this between the couples you get to know on a personal level, (and Amiee and Damon I swear were true embodiment of sunshine and smiles) it’s impossible to not be hit with a wave of ALLLL of those feels. And we wouldn’t want it any other way 🥰

If you ever worried you aren’t “bridal enough” because you don’t like the standard and traditional — do NOT apologize for that! I cannot stress enough that this whole day, from the dresses and suits, to the flowers, decor, cocktails, dishes, entertainment, stationary, music, to the venue, guests, and atmosphere... all of this is happening because you two found each other and knew, you belonged together.

I mean think about it, your love for each other is so strong that it is bringing together your most important friends, family, and wedding professionals. We gather to support you, laugh with you, (happy) cry with you, and make sure that this monumental moment and promise is something that will be celebrated, admired, and remember for generations and generations.

There are so many people out there, and out of all of the billions of people on this earth—you found the one. The one who gets you. Who spirits you. Who’s makes you laugh. Truly loves you, employers you, and pushes you to be the absolute best version of yourself out there.

Without you two, none of this would be possible. We wouldn’t have a couple, love story, or promise to celebrate. It’s all because of you.
