Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King stood for dignity in work, fairness in opportunity, and the simple idea that people deserve respect on the job and in life. His fight for civil rights was also a fight for economic justice, fair wages, and the right of working people to be heard.

On this MLK Day, Teamsters Local 848 reflects on the responsibility that comes with that legacy. Standing together. Protecting one another. And continuing the work of building a more just and equitable future for all working families.
