Over the next little while, I want to introduce you to some of the incredible people who make Streams Church Streams Church the loving, welcoming family that it is.

As our family prepares to move next month, people keep asking why it’s so hard to leave. The answer is simple. It’s the people.

Today, I want you to meet Marvene Swenson.

If you’ve spent any time at Streams, you’ve probably been blessed by her kindness. Marvene has a heart that genuinely cares for people. She faithfully serves in our children’s ministry, pouring into the next generation with patience, love, and unwavering faith.

She’s the kind of person who notices others, welcomes them with a genuine smile, and makes everyone feel like they belong. Her faith is evident in the way she serves so consistently, often behind the scenes without ever seeking recognition.

People like Marvene are the reason leaving Streams is so difficult. You don’t just leave a church. You leave people who have become family.

Marvene, thank you for loving so well and serving so faithfully. Streams is a better church because of you, and we are so grateful for your friendship.
