How did YYES rapidly spin up a visual framework for a new movement seeking to change a calcified industry? We acted decisively and relied on our experience.
Future of Cities is working to change real estate development. It intends to spark a renaissance in “regenerative development” with revitalized, sustainable cities.
YYES expanded the organization’s fledgling brand design to create a site that’s clean and open. Expanding the color palette helped to distinguish content types. Load animations, parallax, and interactivity brought the pages to life during development.
By focusing on “minimum delightful product,” we had the Wordpress site designed and built inside of six weeks so the client could start loading content. Not our preferred working pace but it's what's necessary when the future of cities is at stake.

Back to the roots: A deep love and respect for the commercial arts led us to this field. Poring over old issues of Communication Arts Magazine in school was how our passion was ignited. They're blowing out back issues from 1959 forward. They're full of incredible talent, and look good on a coffee table, too. https://store.commarts.com/single-copy

Latest from YYES: We recently delivered , , identity system, and projects for Defy:Disaster, the disaster relief program of the not-for-profit Entertainment Industry Foundation. The program had outgrown its legacy name and brand and needed to convey its broader mission of disaster preparation, relief, and recovery.
The name Defy:Disaster and a sharp green logo express the unity, strength, and urgency of the program's efforts. The site gives Defy:Disaster a dynamic platform to communicate its current and past efforts. https://defydisaster.org/
