It was so good to celebrate this extraordinary woman of our parish - Gail Moaney Jackson (center in this photo). In addition to her leadership in the church, Gail was a recipient of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS)'s Emmy Awards, and named by The Network Journal as one of the top "25 Influential Black Women in Business" for 2010. A fine arts graduate of Howard University, she holds an MA degree in broadcasting production and management from The American University. Congratulations Gail and thank you for being you!

Professor Lexi once again bid farewell to our Nursery School's graduating class. She gave words of wisdom to them, telling them to "not be afraid to snag the treats and be sure to take time for belly rubs." She then helped to clean up the floor of all the cake and icing that happened to fall. Thankfully, I stopped a child from sliding her a whole cookie.
