The ECE Design & Innovation Center will be a unique facility that will have rapid prototyping and fabrication equipment, a design & simulation island (with a local HPC / cluster, dual and triple monitor workstations, special computing and VR workstations, coding stations), electronics design and soldering stations, instrumentation, testing, and measurement stations, collaboration spaces as well as a mini-amphitheater for seminars, design reviews, and community meetings. It will also include modern and comfortable furniture, creative lighting, and flooring to create an inviting and engaging collaboration and workspace.
