How many utensils does one kitchen need? Do the Peter Walsh trick. Place all cooking and eating utensils into a container/box. Take out items as you need them. Once used, clean and return them to the drawer or whatever place you normally store them. At the end of the month, whatever hasn't come out of the box can go straight to donation. (Of course, remove those that you only use once per year like, turkey lifters, etc. and those get to stay.)

When was the last time you cleared out your beach, hiking or camping gear. For many this stuff goes neglected for years (think sand toys and your children are 18). Take 15 minutes to clear through this stuff and donate what you no longer need/use. Some other family may really appreciate finding that at a local Goodwill.
