I don't even have words for all the emotions I've felt in the last couple of days. Got the phone call the horses were somewhere they should not be. No big deal..... they are easy to catch. Except we could not find them. We searched hundreds of acres. Not one day but two days. By the second day I was getting extremely emotional. These are horses I hollar and they come. We can find them on 300 acres because they come to the pickup. Not even fresh p**p. End of the day yesterday. We are emotional and physically exhausted. Burnt. Tired. Stressed. We are getting ready to leave. I've prayed. I've cried I want to move the mineral block we got them to where everyone's seen them last. As a last ditch attempt at being able to see them the next day. (THANK GOD) We find some tracks again and start following them. Walking into where they have clearly been for a bit. Still no sign of them. We haven't seen much for vechiles at all. Dad ends up on the road. Runs into a very Suspicious truck and livestock trailer. At this point we are all on high alert. We were not wrong. He "found" our mares once he was confronted again. I have ZERO doubt in my mind and heart that had We not followed him he would have loaded my mares and we would have never seen them again. Half of our pawnee daughters. Our keepers. The fillies that I've hung on to so intentionally because I loved him and I want a peice of him as many times as I can.
This would have been the straw that broke the camels back. I have taken so many hits the last couple months. I dont think I emotionally could have handle losing 5 of his daughters.
I mean i do give the scum bag some credit he has an eye for good horse flesh.
They are now all home off the lease land.

I am still in a swirl of emotions and just beyond words we still have them.
Theft is no joke!! We came closer then i EVER EVER wanna come again.
