Like many this day, I am involved in a few activities. I hit the pancake breakfast and watched the parade. I talked with as many folks as possible, offering advice and expressing my point of view.
But as I went to the store to run a few errands, I met a young lady who taught me a valuable lesson. As she beckoned me to her, I bent over she hugged me. Not a little hug but the kind that lets you know you have been embraced. Those with her told me that she liked to give long hugs to the point of being uncomfortable. But I knew that she saw me, and I saw her.

The lesson, however, was not finished. The girl then took my hand and grabbed the hand of the lovely ladies that were with her and made sure that we shook hands and saw each other. Let's take the time today, and every day to see each other.
