Google has added Performance Max Campaigns to Google Ad Grant Accounts. The Google Ad Grant is a $10,000/mo ad credit that is given to qualifying nonprofit organizations. Until now, only Search Campaigns have been allowed on Ad Grant accounts because Google can only volunteer Google-owned properties to deliver the ads (since the Google Display Network and YouTube share revenue with publishers, Google cannot donate those spaces). So how is Google able to offer Performance Max campaigns, which combines ad delivery spaces between the Google Search Network and the Google Display Network? We don't know yet, but we know it's a good thing for Nonprofits because now they can include additional assets with the ads (images and short-length video) which will help improve the creatives visually. In a lot of cases Performance Max campaigns can perform better than Search Campaigns, so it's nice to have the option.
