here are 2 reasons fall is the perfect time to hike to Fossil Springs: 1. the temps are still warm enough to swim, but cool enough to comfortably hike in. 2. starting October 1st, you don’t need a permit to visit. yes, that’s right! from October 1st to April 1st, a permit is not required to hike here. since it’s off season, it’ll likely be less busy, too! win-win!
