We are heartbroken to announce that our dear Chelsea crossed the rainbow bridge last Sunday after a 2 month battle with cancer. We kept her happy and well fed for as long as we could. She eventually slowed down and let us know she was tired and ready to rest.

Chelsea was about 17 years old. She was part of our original group rescued from the Gilbert Riparian Preserve in 2011. She was a sweet girl, but not fond of human touch. In the end she was surrounded by love, kisses and her favorite Churu treats. We love you and will miss you, Chelsea. We hope your boys Tuxey and Jake welcomed you home. Rest in peace, sweet girl. ❤️🌈😿
