Franklin County property owners now have an added layer of security in protecting their properties, thanks to the county’s Register & Recorder’s Office.

Property owners can register for Landex Record Alert to receive notifications any time a document is filed referencing the property’s county-assigned, 20-character tax parcel identification number. There is no fee to register to receive alerts. While this notification tool is not intended to replace services offered by paid title security companies, Landex Record Alert provides property owners an optional, added layer of security, knowing they could be notified any time a document is filed or corrected in the Franklin County Register & Recorder’s Office.
