Regimental Quartermaster INC

We’ve been busy preparing an exciting new store, Regimental Quartermaster Jr., opening in March right next door at 53 Steinwehr Ave. The store will feature hands-on Civil War-era activities for kids, including crafts and games they can try at inside tables or outside in the back —many of which are available for purchase. Planned activities include a Paper Doll Fashion Show (Both dresses and soldiers, making Hard Tack, playing Jacks, an Old-Fashioned Marble Tournament, and making Corn Husk Dolls. And more! We hope to have a big event one weekend per month for the guests who have gotten tired out on the battlefield and kids want something they can be proud to take home with them. Watch for dates of the opening and monthly events right here on our site.

This morning I am pumped and ready to go. It's an exciting day for a parade!
I so enjoy seeing many folks in our store that I only see once a year and yesterday was no exception! Today will be a blur compared to yesterday and tonight it will be another Remembrance Day in the books!

We will be open from 8 am to 8 pm today but will still get to enjoy the parade and admire all of the reenactors who have been our customers - some for the first time this year And many who have been in the hobby since George Lomas started nearly 60 years ago. Hats off to all!
Regimental Quartermaster is going strong and George is with us in spirit and I would like to think he is smiling down on Gettysburg and all of you! Have fun folks and let's show America what the history of Gettysburg and her people are all about!
