Best thing to do after a long winter break? A Minecraft project! This week, students are designing a floor plan in AutoCAD, and then building their house in Minecraft.

This week, our students decorated our classroom Christmas tree with custom 3D printed ornaments.

Nothing says Merry Christmas like displaying the Peter Griffin medallion from Fortnite on your Christmas tree!

This week’s Project Spotlight is from our Introduction to CAD class. We just wrapped up drawing a rough sketch of what our future homes could look like. Had everything from a library, to a movie theatre, and even some oversized bathrooms in the mix.

Students in the Parametric Modeling class are finishing up a project based on designing and 3D printing a balloon powered car!

Introducing the Great Crossing High School Computer Aided Drafting Pathway! This is a new pathway to Great Crossing that focuses on many forms of engineering design, in both 2D and 3D applications. In this pathway we like to design and prototype our ideas in industrial grade software, and take a practical approach that will help students prepare for a career as soon as they leave high school.
