Thank you so much for the donations, shares, and words of support following Saturday’s post. It’s hard to put into words how much it means. Your donations have helped us pay for hay and feed, items from our Chewy wish list started arriving today (!), and folks have reached out with great fundraising ideas, which we are working on. Should I have asked for help sooner? Yes. 😅 Is this a hard (for me) life skill that I am slowly learning? Also yes. Thank you for rallying around us and caring about some ragtag donkeys and the land that allows us to do this rescue work. This is our home, and it is the best place on earth. ❤️‍🩹 I will post updates throughout the next few weeks as we work to get the property taxes paid and, from there, to continue building Blue Moon’s sustainability into the distant future.
