HOA Candidate: Erica Hickey

We became Crystal Knoll residents last June and have enjoyed the place we now call home. Understanding that the HOA is in transition and looking to support our neighbors in the most beneficial way possible, I have decided to apply as an HOA candidate.
My Honey and I both work in town and are heavily involved in the community. I am a recent alumna of our local Georgetown Leadership Academy and my husband works for the City of Georgetown. As illustrated, we are the type of folks to hit the ground running when it comes to seeing a need in our community and finding ways to fill it. I've worked in politics for over a decade supporting children, young adults and families that come into contact with foster care and adoption agencies and have previous Board experience serving as the Vice Chair and Chair of various committees of a non-profit.
We understand there is a potential for a management company to take over our HOA which comes with the inevitable increase in HOA fees and potential fines. I am of the belief that this option isn 't beneficial or feasible for our Crystal Knoll community and would like to be of support to circumvent that.
I hope to be of service to our neighborhood and would like to focus on building stronger communication and transparency with the HOA and our neighbors.
