Please consider supporting this organization in response to the devastating fires in Maui. My dear friend from Maui, Laura Dunham, who just visited us here in Louisville and then a mini college reunion in Denver, was fortunately spared from any disaster. Her local insight on the ground is that it is far more destructive than even being reported as she sees it and hears it from her friends. Biohazards, oil and gas spillage, asbestos from burned buildings, destroyed waterfront all pale in comparison to the loss of life and homelessness for locals.
