For Teacher Appreciation Week, Parkside PTA provided a delicious tropical BBQ lunch. Smokey Mo's TX BBQ was "A-Peeling" with their famous BBQ and an amazing discount. Highlights included the "Loaded with Love" Baked Potato Bar and "We’re Bananas for You" Banana Pudding! Mahalo to our teachers and Smokey Mo's!

Leander ISD schools and facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, due to continued freezing conditions and hazardous travel concerns. All classes and after-school activities are canceled.

We made this decision after consultation with emergency response agencies and local officials. Despite precipitation ending, temperatures have remained below freezing and are not expected to rise above 32-degrees at all on Monday, posing hazardous road conditions across our large district.

Parkside Elementary is seeking 2 community members to represent our campus on the Leander ISD Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC). CFAC helps develop recommendations related to school facilities, safety, learning spaces, technology, and future planning across the district. This is an important opportunity to ensure Parkside’s voice is included in conversations that impact students for years to come! 🗓 Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 PM 📍 In person at the Leander Extended Opportunity Center ✔️ Must be a Leander ISD resident 📧 Interested? So proud of these fourth grade Mustangs for their performance at the Austin Spurs basketball game tonight! We had so many students participate and the game was a blast! Big shout out and thank you to Mrs. McCormick for putting this together and for all of our Mustang families for coming out to support your kiddos!
