Jeep Jamboree
Conservation and stewardship require hard work, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to protecting the trails we all enjoy.
Last week, an incredible team came together on the Rubicon Trail’s Big Sluice to complete critical restoration work on a series of water diversions designed to reduce erosion, protect natural resources, and help preserve this iconic trail for future generations.
A huge thank you to the Jeep Brand team, Tread Lightly!, Factor 55, WARN Industries, El Dorado County, and Rubicon Soda Springs for their partnership, support, and dedication to keeping the Rubicon Trail sustainable and accessible. Projects like these ensure that responsible recreation and conservation continue to go hand in hand.
Together, we’re helping protect and preserve one of the world’s most iconic off-road destinations.
Last week, an incredible team came together on the Rubicon Trail to make a lasting impact. In partnership with the Jeep Brand, WARN Industries, Factor 55, Tread Lightly!, and El Dorado County, we rebuilt and maintained several critical water diversion structures on Big Sluice — essential infrastructure that helps protect the trail, reduce erosion, and support long-term environmental stewardship along one of the world’s most iconic off-road trail.
In addition to the trail work, the Jeep Brand donated more than $3,000 worth of Bio Response, a natural enzyme treatment used to help break down petroleum contaminants and preserve the pristine condition of the Rubicon Trail. Efforts like these ensure the Rubicon remains open, sustainable, and accessible for future generations of outdoor enthusiasts.
A sincere thank you to the Jeep Brand, WARN Industries, Factor 55, Tread Lightly!, El Dorado County, and every team member who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference. Conservation, stewardship, and access happen when great partners come together.
How to Shift Your Jeep 4x4 into 4-Low (4L)
Engaging 4-Low can seem intimidating if you’ve never done it before, but it’s actually a simple process once you understand the proper steps. In this quick how-to video, we’ll walk you through exactly how to shift your Jeep’s 4x4 system into 4-Low safely and correctly.
Our recommendation: practice this process at home before heading out on the trail. Becoming familiar with your vehicle’s transfer case controls before attending a Jeep Adventure Academy or Jeep Jamboree will help build confidence, reduce stress, and allow you to focus on enjoying the experience. With a little practice, you’ll be shifting into 4-Low like a seasoned off-roader before your adventure even begins.
