A Flood Watch has been issued for Georgetown County from 2 PM Wednesday through 8 PM Thursday. Heavy rainfall may result in flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas as Hurricane Idalia moves through the area Wednesday afternoon through Thursday.

Do not drive through floodwaters and don't drive around barricades.
