💕 People living with memory loss are often drawn to dolls—and there’s a very meaningful reason why.💕

For many individuals, holding a doll can awaken deep memories of caring for children or loved ones. A doll can provide comfort, purpose & a sense of connection. When someone gently holds, rocks, or talks to a doll, they may be expressing the nurturing instincts that have been part of them their entire life.

Dolls can also help reduce anxiety & restlessness. The simple act of holding something soft & familiar can bring a sense of calm & security. For some, it gives them “someone” to care for again, reminding them that they still have love & kindness to give.

Moments like these remind us that even when memory fades, the heart NEVER FORGETS how to love.💗
