Georgetown High Senior Finn Long Accepts Appointment to U.S. Air Force Academy GAB News for Georgetown County

🇺🇸🎯 HISTORY MADE! The Georgetown Navy JROTC Marksmanship Team has qualified for the Navy JROTC National Championship for the first time in the program’s 40-year history! Only about 50 teams out of more than 600 worldwide earn this honor. The team will travel this Wednesday from Myrtle Beach to Columbia, Missouri, to compete at the Missouri Marksmanship Education Center in the elite Three-Position Air Rifle (3PAR) competition—firing from prone, standing, and kneeling positions at 10-meter targets. After three days of competition, the top seven teams will advance to the All-Service Championship at Camp Perry, Ohio in March. Representing Georgetown are Finn Long, Paige Pinckney, Kenzi Phillips, Crystal Figueroa, and Zoey Baker—Congratulations and good luck as you represent our school and community on the national stage! 🇺🇸🎯
