You may encounter these and other rules as you play chess with us and others this coming Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 6 at our regular chess time. The above situation is a stalemate, a type of draw which prevents either player from winning and this simulated end game is over (I got it out of the same book.) Come and play chess next Tuesday at 4! Or take advantage of another time. We usually have a chess board set up and ready to play.
