Seaglass terrarium.

Some photos of my little workshop space today. I’m still very much in the process of organizing, hanging and setting things up, but it’s functional and cozy. Everything that I need to make wabi balls, plant them, grow them out, and use them to create thriving ecosystems- is all within arms reach. Half of the rack also holds trays where I’m growing out aquatic, terrarium plants, and mosses.

My standard tool kit consists of little scissors, tweezers, string, and a spray bottle. That’s what I use for planting and trimming. I also have a notebook where I write my various wabi ball soil recipes, as well as planting dates and any special notes. I have LOTS of substrates, rocks, driftwood, and a variety of containers on the shelves and tucked away all over the place.

The last photo is of a set of wabis that I worked on today…These were planted threeish weeks ago and were growing out all together in about an inch of water inside a big whitish storage tub (a method which worked surprisingly well!). 🌿💧☀️🌱
