Golfers In Motion
Most golfers are guessing.
They guess that they need more rotation.
They guess that they need more speed.
They guess that they need a new drill.
They guess that their swing problem is just a swing problem.
But your body and your swing are connected.
If your hips, shoulders, or upper back do not move well, your swing will find a way around it.
If your body moves well but your swing is not using it efficiently, that matters too.
That is why I assess both.
Movement screen to see what the body can actually do.
Sportsbox AI to see what the swing is actually doing.
Then we build the plan from there.
Because the goal is not random exercises.
The goal is knowing what is actually limiting your golf swing, your speed, your consistency, or your ability to play without feeling beat up.
Assess. Don’t guess.

My workouts don’t look the same as they did 15 years ago.
And that’s by design.
These days, I’m not chasing bigger numbers in the gym.
I’m focused on moving well, staying strong, and maintaining the power that helps me compete on the golf course.
That’s why my training includes mobility, strength, and explosive movements.
I never ask my clients to do something I’m not willing to do myself.
Because the goal isn’t just to play more golf.
It’s to keep playing well for years to come.
How you train should evolve as you get older.
It shouldn’t stop.
What’s one thing you’ve changed about your training or golf game over the years?

Mobility and strength are only part of the equation.
This client has made great progress in how his body moves and how strong he is.
But the next challenge is what most golfers struggle with:
Carrying it over to the golf swing.
That’s where we start using more athletic drills.
Throwing.
Stepping.
Sequencing.
Creating rhythm.
Letting the body organize itself.
Because sometimes golfers get so locked into swing thoughts that they lose the athleticism they already have.
The goal isn’t to make the swing robotic.
The goal is to help the body move well enough AND sequence well enough that the golf swing starts to feel more natural, powerful, and repeatable.
If your body feels better but your swing still feels stuck, the missing piece might be transfer.
DM me GOLF and I’ll help you figure out where the breakdown is.

I came up two shots short in a recent qualifier.
The cut was +2.
I finished at +4.
Of course, I would’ve loved a different result.
But after reflecting on the round, I don’t think I left much out there. I grinded, managed the course, and got about everything I could out of my game that day.
That’s golf.
And it’s also one of the reasons I believe so strongly in preparing your body and not just your swing.
Some days your timing is off.
Some days the putts don’t fall.
Some days you simply don’t have your best stuff.
But if your body moves well, holds up physically, and gives you the freedom to make the swing you want, you’ll always give yourself the best chance to compete.
That’s something worth training for.

Most golfers use the driving range to warm up.
The problem is…
The range isn’t designed to warm up your body.
It’s there to help you find rhythm, see your ball flight, and prepare for the shots you’ll hit on the course.
If your hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders aren’t ready to rotate before that first swing, you’re asking your body to perform before it’s prepared.
A proper warm-up doesn’t have to take long.
Just a few minutes of purposeful movement can help you move more freely, swing more efficiently, and give yourself a better chance of playing well from the first tee.
Your first good swing shouldn’t happen on hole 4.
It should happen on the first tee.
Save this for your next round, and if you’re not sure whether your body is helping or limiting your swing, send me a DM with “WARM UP.”
