🏳️‍🌈 Empower your teen's journey of self-discovery by learning how to support them through the coming out process. Join us Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. as we welcome Carolyn Wahlskog LCSW from Youth Outlook. Carolyn will share information about how to support and advocate for your child, learn about important terminology, and local resources.

This is such a great message. A gentle reminder: YOU too are worthy of those positive thoughts, realistic expectations and second chances you have for your loved ones.

Well here we are right before finals week in our area and anxiety levels are high amongst many students. You guys are almost there!
shared some great reminders on self-care during this stressful time when final assignments, projects, tests etc are all coming down on you right before the final exams next week. Remember that it’s ok to feel stressed and like you are so overwhelmed you can’t think. This is temporary and due to all of the pressures and demands piling up on you at the same time. Deep breaths! Take some breaks and be kind to yourself. Thank you crisis textline for the great tips and reminders for our teens and young adults.

This was not my fortune tonight at dinner. But it quickly made its way over to me and I think it’s pretty great! This little fortune is a great reminder to not be so hard on ourselves when we make mistakes and mess up because “mess ups” are a part of the imperfect human experience. We all do it! None of us are perfect and that’s ok. Also, mistakes can offer us an opportunity to learn and grow. Remember to be kind to yourself 🥠

Exciting things are happening…..We have been very busy getting ready to welcome two more clinicians to the group and also adding more therapy rooms. Here’s a sneak peak of the new additional space which will be ready this month!
