One of the most beautiful books I have! A completely original 1910 printing of "The Grammar of Ornament" by Owen Jones, published by Bernard Quaritch of London. Take a look at these color plates!

Near-mint vintage wall calendar (1961) from Potter's store in LaFox, Kane County, Illinois. The store opened in 1860, and was purchased by Lemuel Potter in 1863. After more than 140 years of operation, the store closed permanently in January 2004. This calendar was in storage (in the store) for decades, still has its original envelope, and the color looks great! This one will be listed in the Etsy store, but I have others that are unlisted, which are available for local pickup. Prices range from $18-40 per calendar.

This set of matching antique andirons are at least a century old, and are made of solid brass. They are in the Regency style, and have very nice urn-shaped finials, and claw-and-ball feet. The log rests can be adjusted a bit, and may be made of cast iron (they are quite heavy). They will look amazing after a polish, and were originally made for a fireplace, but they could really be used anywhere. The andirons are approx. 19" tall. They came from a (very) high-end property in St. Charles. Asking $180 obo, with priority to first pickup. Porch pickup in Geneva, or I can meet you in Batavia, St. Charles, or West Chicago.

This is a high-quality 20th century reproduction of Sir Henry Raeburn's "Portrait of Charles Christie, Esquire" which now resides in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I believe that this is a textured giclée, and the colors in it look great. The frame is quite large, measuring approx. 27 1/2" wide and 33 1/2" tall. The piece is ready to hang, and would look great in any office, study, living room, hallway, library, or parlor. Or anywhere, really! Raeburn lived from 1756 to 1823, and created the original around 1800. Raeburn painted in the Romantic style, and was one of King George IV's portraitists. A sticker on the reverse of the piece indicates that it was once sold by Chelsea House of Gastonia, North Carolina (probably in the 1970s or '80s). Asking $245, with priority to earliest pickup. Porch pickup in Geneva, or I can meet you in Batavia, St. Charles, or West Chicago. Cross-posted.
