Thought I would share my experience with virtual staging of rooms on my listings. Being "technically challenged" I was a bit anxious about trying it, but it is really very easy and even fun ! Virtually
staging helps to better judge the space in a room. It also allows you to try different furnishings and decor. This is great for staging vacant houses that are for sale. But it is also helpful when trying to decide how to redecorate your current home. The app allows you to have them remove items from the room (a nice way of saying declutter). Then you can choose what style of furniture and the title of the room such as kitchen, dining, living room, Then voila ! You have a lovely room. They give you several choices. I always note in the remarks on a listing that some of the rooms have been "virtually staged". This prevents any confusion when a buyer tours the house. I also post a photo of the staged room outside the currently vacant room. Some of the sites will allow you to try to stage one room for free. Just be careful not to sign up for something you don't want. That was the only confusing part. I've posted some of the virtually staged rooms from my listing at
