The Garrett-Keyser-Butler School District is excited to announce that the online student registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open!

Parents can access the student registration by going to https://gkb.powerschool.com/public/home.html and logging into their PowerSchool Parent account or by visiting the GKB website at www.gkb.k12.in.us, selecting Menu, Family Portal and PowerSchool.

The Garrett-Keyser-Butler School Corporation would appreciate all families taking action and completing the student registration prior to the start of the school year. Parents with questions about completing the registration may contact their student’s school office beginning on July 28th.

Congrats to Garrett High School alum Cameron Smolinske, who was awarded a Central Great Lakes Emmy Award this past weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.

Smolinske, who works for Pacers Sports & Entertainment, won in the Technical Achievement category for Using CWDM for Sub-Millisecond Latency, Remote Production as the Integrating Engineer. Congrats again to Cameron and his team!

The Garrett Alpha Chi (Ki) Chapter of Tri Kappa honors three juniors each academic year for excellence in Art, Music, and Science.
