For WIPA North Carolina's MITTI Cultural Event, this gathering space reflected the heart of the day through warm textures, layered color, lush tropical greenery, and welcoming details.

We love when a lounge does more than make a statement. It gives guests a place to settle in, connect, and experience hospitality in a way that feels natural from the very first conversation.

A ballroom can accommodate hundreds of guests, but we still want every design choice to feel personal. 🪑

For this reception, we introduced upholstered sofa seating alongside classic dining chairs to bring a softer, more welcoming feel to the room. The clean linen upholstery, plush neutral and olive pillows, layered patterned linens, and flickering candlelight create subtle contrast without competing for attention.

It's a simple shift that changes how guests experience the evening. The variety of seating adds depth across the ballroom, while the sofas invite people to get comfortable, stay a little longer, and enjoy the conversations that happen between courses.

In this bright, airy venue, the seating layout, touches of greenery, and open architecture work together to create a place where guests naturally want to gather.

Giving a lounge room to breathe allows conversations to unfold comfortably while becoming part of the overall flow of the event.

Some of our favorite reception spaces are built through contrast. Velvet seating brings softness, lush florals create movement, and patterned linens quietly anchor the entire design. Giving each element space to shine results in a dining setting that feels warm, balanced, and inviting.

We were honored to be a part of the Dazel Luxury Launch Party with Dazel By David Zelaya, bringing guests together beneath towering pines and glowing lights for an evening centered on community.

While the florals set the scene, we were proud to add the seating that welcomed guests into it, creating a place to gather, celebrate, and stay awhile.

What an honor it was to be part of WIPA North Carolina's MITTI Cultural Event. 🧡🪴

Mitti, meaning "earth" or "soil," is a beautiful reflection of culture, heritage, and belonging. That spirit shaped the entire celebration, inviting guests to gather in a space that felt welcoming from the moment they arrived.

Our role was to create spaces where that sense of belonging could unfold naturally. Across the event, layered lounges and shaded seating gave guests places to gather long after the first hello. We can't wait to share more from this beautiful celebration in the weeks ahead.

Designed with rich leather seating, warm wood tones, deep green accents, and layered textures, this lounge offered guests a place to settle in and step away from the pace of the evening. The moodier palette and collected styling created a sense of comfort that felt both inviting and refined.

We love creating spaces that feel like a destination within the event itself.
